Environmental Conservation Quiz Organized Jointly by Green Campus Committee and Nature Club At R.R. Mehta College of Science and C.L. Parikh College of Commerce, Palanpur—run by Banaskantha District K

A special Environmental Conservation Quiz was organized on 28th July, 2025, on the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day. The event was a joint initiative of the Green Campus Committee and the Nature Club, in which more than 100 enthusiastic students participated. The program commenced with a group recitation of Vedic hymns. Present at the event were Dr. Mukesh Patel, Convener of the Green Campus Committee; Dr. Sureshbhai Prajapati, Convener of the Nature Club; Dr. Priyaben Chauhan from the Commerce Department; and Dr. Ankitaben Chaudhary from the Chemistry Department, who served as the quiz judge. The program also received the virtual blessings of the institution’s Principal, Dr. Y. B. Dabgar. Dr. Sureshbhai Prajapati welcomed the attendees and delivered an inaugural address and blessings. Over 100 students actively participated in the quiz, which aimed to spread awareness about environmental conservation. Dr. Ankitaben Chaudhary evaluated the quiz and awarded first, second, and third ranks to the top-performing students. The winners were honored with gifts presented by Dr. Sureshbhai Prajapati, social worker(Sevakarmi) Shri Keshabhai Thakor, and Dr. Priyaben Chauhan. Dr. J.N. Patel made a valuable contribution by preparing the quiz questions, and the event was successfully hosted by Dr. Dhruv Pandya, Assistant Professor from the Botany Department. The dedicated efforts of student volunteers played a crucial role in the success of the event. The program concluded with a group singing of the national anthem.
